Clement Crow

A Man Under Construction

To be heard is to be understood, to be read is to be known.

About Clement Crow

Clement is a writer from deep within Appalachia where directions are given by the shape of the skyline and through names of old peaks. His work is rooted in the rhythms of real lives—hard won, unglamorous, enduring—shaped by the belief that beauty can redeem even them.

Crow has worked just about every job there is: laying carpet, framing houses, delivering pizzas and newspapers, serving in the military, and even as a pig slopper. He writes what comes to him, often about people the world forgets to remember, but who never forget. His stories walk the highway carved between pain and grace. He tries not to look away.

Though he has wandered far, Clement now lives close to where he started. Quietly, he keeps writing.
